I pitched at C-Tribe X Tech Festival & gained a community of support!
Special thanks to Vince Iannelli for the pitch coaching sessions, our expert judges Raissa Espiritu, Yasmine Al-Hussein, MBA & Arden Tse, as well as RBC, Edmonton RIN, City of Edmonton, Innovate Calgary, National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada and all the other amazing partners who made this event possible. Your dedication to fostering women's entrepreneurship is invaluable!
Check out their work and support where you can! I can't wait to see what these brilliant minds will achieve!
This group of empowered women from across Canada has also started a group to share opportunities, resources and gain feedback from one another on our ventures.
Now this is what I am here for!
I have been told by many people that it can feel lonely, daunting, and challenging to build a business but up until this week I hadnβt really felt that. Sure, it has been super challenging but I always had someone or somewhere to turn for the support I needed, along with a lot of determination to bring CoLab to teachers in need. While that was still true this week, I hit a wall, feeling overwhelmed and paralyzed. I reached out to friends and mentors to help bring perspective and guidance and I am already feeling reenergized and focused on the road ahead.
Support networks like the ones I formed at C-Tribe have enabled me to keep pushing and working towards solving issues of burnout for teachers. A problem I am determined to crackβ¦.with some help!
